As a trainee electrician, some thirty years ago, I developed an ambition to utilise my skills beyond simple re-wirings and lighting installations. So armed with my City & Guilds 236. Part I and Part II, I set out to explore the world of security and alarms. Some twenty-five years on, I have established a strong foothold in the sector and relish the day-to-day challenges this industry throws at me.

Keeping up with the huge advancements made in technology has ensured my enthusiasm for the work has remained as keen as ever. I have undertaken a series of training courses to ensure I am continually up to date with all the state-of-the art systems as they become available to the market, not least with highly respected companies and brands such as TEXECOM and HONEYWELL GALAXY. Such groups produce the necessary equipment that provides intruder alarm systems as well as intelligent security solutions plus alarm signalling communications.
